Achievements and pets this week

I have had these sitting around in my study in a box for ages, and hadn't redeemed them - I guess I was just waiting in case I had to give some emergency birthday presents or something.

I farmed my Whole-Body Shrinka' Mon which didn't take too long when you run around doing Commanders.  The problem is I can't really melee those stupid things in bear because I just end up getting agro and getting smashed.  However, I also can't run around as resto killing the stone area mobs (dogs and elementals and those guys who make an S shaped spiky earthquake thing) so constantly switching specs (or forgetting to!) led to my death a few times.  But another druid landed next to me when I was tanking a whole heap of dogs so I invited him to party to make farming quicker and saved his poor squishy bear a few times. But we got our stones, so that was all good.  I ony got it so I could take pictures next to my pets :)

Cavendar gave me a new pet this week - a Netherspace Abyssal from Prince Malchazzar in Kara - because he was sorely disappointed he couldn't give me a tiny red carp after I fished my own one up the other day.  I love warlocky pets!

And last night, when I was feeling glum because there were no Warbringers to be had, Luxy said "Go do some Brawlers!"  I hadn't done it for a while - I was stuck on Fran and Riddoh because I was hitting the enrage timer.  I was determined to only do it as a tank, to see if it could be done, so I wouldn't switch to boomy or cat to try it.

However, with all my gear upgrades I had more damage, so that went down and so not only got through Rank 2 but I finished all of Rank 3! Yay I made it Rank 4 in guardian spec!  So I finally got my Clock'em!

Luxy also managed to round up enough people to queue at Brawlers for the portal to spawn so we all got that achievement too!

Yes it just dumps you just outside Stormwind which is a bit of a drag - but not a drag if you have a MAGE in your group!  Yay Xynzelle, good for something after all :P

I was determined to get some achievements this week, and I also have caught a digging bug again so I have been digging and digging (perhaps because I got the gun from Mantid archaeology recently - maybe I should try levelling a hunter...? /slaps face STOP that crazy talk Navimie!) so I got a couple of archaeology achievements.

And A Litte Patience was kind to me and I got Night Elf and Pandarian things to build which netted me both those achievements too!

I was cranky with the Unga Ingoo scenario because I swear I have NEVER seen that keg.  So I was running it trying to find the keg, and then I dragged Arvash to join me.  I helped him get his achievements and then we just kept running it over and over... we even got Cain to join us (he had been hanging with Zeirah and now we were all hanging out on Vent chatting).  After a while we would just kill the first few mobs and get the Panda to his keg then run around to see if the bosses were up and if they weren't we'd just drop group and try again.  Eventually we got it, with one hiccup, because I didn't realise if I clicked the Protected Keg that it would disappear and the others wouldn't get it.  So the next time, Cain and Arv clicked it together and they both got credit.

And doing that many scenarios got my my 100 for Queuing Spree.

So before I got too sleepy, we queued for one more scenario to get another achievement in Greenstone Village where we didn't throw the brew around.  At least that was an easy one!
