Navispamming Effraeti and Laz

Effraeti (of Effy's RP on Wyrmrest Accord) and I have known each other since the Blog Azeroth Thanksgiving event, where we won equal first prize - me with a poem, and her with an illustrated children's story.  Actually, that event was one of the pivotal events in my blogging life, as some of my closest friends now, I met through that Shared Topic.

Since then Effraeti and I have been fast friends - she was one of the first bloggers I shared my realID with and chatted to, and we met before in the pixel at Amateur Azerothian's "bowing out raid" (which was we all know just made him love WoW again) and we have similar ideas about some very controversial ideas.  We're both healers and like raiding, and I love reading her fiction stories and seeing her transmogs, and her blog was like a second home to me.  She's been rather quiet these days on her WoW blog.

She started to talk a lot about Laz and I would often talk to her on realID and find out it was actually Laz, and so I chatted to Laz too.  He was a good sort, and it took me a while to puzzle out their relationship which I won't go into here (but you can read all about on her blog).

Effy is also my inspiration behind my Effing Eff Navizor, because Effy, being a redhead, often lets fly with all the passion she can muster.  She has come to my defence a few times, and I thank her for that from the bottom of my heart :)

So can you believe it took me THIS LONG to get a picture with her!  So I had to choose somewhere appropriate and this statue with Draenei children seemed appropriate.

Laz joined us as well, which was absolutely perfect!  Don't the both look spiffy in their transmogs!  I got on Vent and chatted to them both and we talked about everything from stories, to how they met, to what they were doing now, and of course, about blogging.  We laughed about the one time we were going to meet up but I was actually at the hairdressers texting her on google!

So thank you Laz and Effy for letting me Navispam you both!  It was great that we finally got on at the same time!

    1. I tell you, I didn't know it was there before because I play horde (it's in the alliance town in Zangarmarsh). But you, being Alliance, Ambermist, have no such excuse :D

  4. Navi,

You have no idea how eagerly I have been awaiting this post! So eagerly in fact, that I am ashamed of myself for missing it yesterday. (Though, in my defense, I was mostly-unplugged yesterday, playing some old school, non-online games. *gasp* I know! But by old school, I mean really old school D&D games. Win!)

Anyway... I am however scoffing at the fact that you missed the part both Laz and I found most amusing... Apparently Navi thinks Laz and I sound like movie stars! :D I can honestly say I have never been told that before.

But Navi herself has a most lovely accent. You should all go listen to the Twisted Nether Blogcast episode of her, and see what a lovely voice she has. <3

Okie, I have probably rambled on your blog enough for the moment.

    *hugs!!*

    1. LOL I totally forgot about that! Yes, you both sounded like American Movie stars, you both have lovely speaking voices - I was almost swooning with how sweet you guys sound! And gosh, the enthusiasm in your voice when you speak is so palpable, how could I not get excited and talk at a hundred miles an hour (see I am using american words - miles!!!).
Oh, you can ramble as much as you like :) I love hearing what you have to say /hug

    2. Yah, you know me for my passionate writing, but I am the same way in person. ;) I talk and express myself with passion and wear my emotions on my sleeve. (Ask Laz, I could not hide something from him if I tried - which is horrible when buying him gifts! lol)

It was a great meeting of minds, to be sure, and we shall have to make sure it is repeated at some point. :)
